Maisy Blanton is in her third year as a communications major at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Originally from Wichita, Kansas, she has loved spending her college years in Kansas City. Maisy has had the pleasure of working as the social media editor at UMKC’s student newspaper since her second semester. In addition, she spent last summer in her hometown as a communications intern at Music Theatre Wichita, a nonprofit professional theatre company. She is happy to be returning to Kansas City life after spending the fall semester studying abroad in Milan, Italy. In her free time, Maisy loves to read, travel anywhere with a beach, and enjoy live music. She is ecstatic to be a part of an organization that puts global perspectives, current events, and community education at the forefront of its mission!
