Daniel Fitzpatrick is a native of Windsor, Connecticut, and has lived in Kansas City since 2017. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in History from the University of Hartford as well as an M.A. in Transnational Studies from the University of Southampton (UK), and has professional experience in the fields of health services and refugee resettlement. His lifelong interest in international studies was formed at age 11 when he was enrolled in the Metropolitan Learning Center for Global & International Studies, a charter school in Bloomfield, Connecticut, designed to provide equitable educational opportunities to underserved communities in the state. Outside of work, Daniel enjoys reading about baseball history, seeing live music, and can be found in the supporters’ section of Sporting KC and Kansas City Current games. He is tremendously excited to be working with the IRC and to bring his love for Kansas City, global perspectives, and forming interpersonal relationships into the role of membership and engagement coordinator.
