Dr. Andrew Vogel is a longtime leader in international education with more than 20 years of experience building global connections that strengthen students, institutions, and local communities. He serves as Vice President of Global Strategy and Chief International Affairs Officer at Avila University, where he has helped grow the international student population to more than 1,700 students representing over 40 countries. His career spans higher education leadership, teaching abroad in China and India, and collaboration with U.S. Embassies, while remaining deeply committed to community engagement in Kansas City. Dr. Vogel is passionate about fostering cross-cultural understanding and creating welcoming, inclusive spaces where global and local communities thrive together.
