KU Medical Center, founded in 1905, has been a facet of the greater Kansas City community since its earliest days. KU Medical has since become one of the leading cancer research centers in the world, working to expand treatments and developing new tools to combat disease. KU Medical Center currently serves over 3,500 students.

KU Medical Center and the International Relations Council have collaborated extensively to help develop programming highlighting global health issues. Through events such as Your Global Future and our recent Global Honors Evening, focusing on global health, KU Medical Center and the IRC have worked towards their shared vision and goals.
