Convened by IRC founder Eliot Berkley, the IRC Academy is a committed group of members – individuals, families, and organizations – who want to dive deeper into international affairs and show special support for the work of the IRC. We warmly welcome your interest and involvement.

Special Benefits of IRC Academy Membership

  • Recognition of giving on the IRC website, in the annual report, and at signature IRC events
  • Special invitation-only opportunities with visiting dignitaries, including journalists, professors, and diplomats
  • Meet-and-greet receptions before select IRC programs

Examples of Recent and Upcoming Academy Opportunities

On Thursday, May 10, IRC Academy members will be invited to a welcome dinner given in honor of more than ten visiting Asian diplomats, including the ambassadors of Indonesia, Malaysia, Nepal, Pakistan, and Singapore and the consuls general of China, India, Indonesia, Pakistan, the Philippines, South Korea, and Turkey.

On Wednesday, April 11, IRC Academy members were invited to a special dinner with Mr. Gregory Gottlieb, director of the Feinstein International Center at Tufts University and recent acting assistant administrator for the Bureau for Democracy, Conflict, and Humanitarian Assistance at USAID. Mr. Gottlieb shared about his work in international relief efforts, and attendees engaged him on a range of topics.
