Dear friends,

The WorldQuest planning team met this week and can't wait for you to see some of the surprises we have in store this year. The competition has gone virtual for 2020, and – because we can all use a chance to connect right now – the first 25 organizational members to register will receive a complimentary team of eight. More information is available on the IRC website.

The weeks ahead have a nice variety of programs, including a French cooking class, introductions to the Tagalog and Mískitu languages, discussions on global energy demand and Ukraine, the IRC Book Club, and the International Film Club, among others. And you won't want to miss a timely conversation on Hong Kong with University of Notre Dame Associate Professor of Political Science Victoria Tin-bor Hui on Wednesday, August 12.

Internships for for the fall semester are available, and we'd appreciate your help in spreading the word! We're accepting applications for internships in digital resources, fund development, marketing, and membership through Friday, July 24. All fall internships will be remote. More information is available on the IRC website.

Thanks for all you do to support the International Relations Council – it really means so much.

Kind regards,

Matthew Hughes, Executive Director • 816-897-6474
