Dear@@first_name@@,

The Covid-19 pandemic is impacting all aspects of life and society in historic ways, and one of our continuing goals is to dive deep and understand those impacts with the help of experts in their fields. We hope you'll join us tomorrow, Thursday, April 30, asVisit KC President and CEO Jason Fulvi leads a News & Views discussion on where travel and tourism go from here. Likewise, next week, former FBI Special Agent in Charge Michael Tabman and KU Medical Center Associate Professor Dr. Sarah Kessler will look at how we balance privacy concerns and security with public health in responding to a pandemic. Please join us.

Next week, theIRCis pleased to be working with World Affairs Councils from around the country on a national week of programming– an ideas summit that will explore how we start putting the world back together. Please find more information below, and don't miss keynote presentations from Gen. John Allen (president of the Brookings Institution), Gen. David Petraeus, and Amb. Bill Taylor from the U.S. Institute of Peace, among many others. We thank our national network – theWorld Affairs Councils of America– and the World Affairs Council of Connecticut for their leadership in this initiative and hope you enjoy the meaningful conversations that result.

Be sure to check out the calendar below for additional offerings in the Lexicon, International Career, and Digital Coffee Hour series, as well. See you soon!
