We understand the how difficult things are at the present moment. We feel disconnected, unsure, and uncomfortable. Here at theIRC, we are going to do our best to keep the dialogue moving forward, and to bring some constants back into this time of unpredictability.
Our lineup of Digital Programmingwill continue our quest to facilitate thought-provoking conversations about the global landscape, but will hopefully, and more importantly, give you the chance to connect with your friends, family, and many curious members of the Kansas City community.
Whether it's News & Views, Book Club, or Coffee Hour, we hope to see you soon on Zoom! Thank you for sticking with us.
Every weekday going forward, theIRCis going to put on aDigitalCoffee Hour. We’ll invite you to make yourself a warm beverage, log on to Zoom, and share international memories, experiences, and tales. Our mission is to expand the international dialogue surrounding Kansas City, but it is also to facilitate storytelling and conversation. Let’s get through this difficult time together. Click here for more information.
Digital events going forward will be hosted through the free online meeting platform, Zoom. This link will bring you directly to the download page for Zoom. After downloading, please take a few minutes to familiarize yourself with its features.
On the day of the event you will receive an IRC email with the link to join the session. Simply click this link and grant permission for Zoom to open the link. You will then automatically join the event.
If you have any questions, or if you would like to set up a personal Zoom training session, please feel free to reach out to Jon Hartnett (Jhartnett@irckc.org).
