The International Relations Council continues to closely monitor updates related to COVID-19. With the wellbeing of our members and community top of mind, and in response to guidance from federal, state, and local health authorities, we will be adjusting our programming over the next few weeks.

In particular:

  • We are pausing all in-person programs through Friday, April 3, including the annual WorldQuest trivia night. Registrants will receive email notifications regarding rescheduling and ticket refunds.

  • IRC planning teams, committees, and the board of directors will meet remotely during this period.

  • We will re-evaluate plans as additional information becomes available and communicate any further adjustments.

Just because we won't see you in person for a few weeks doesn't mean we don't have ways for you to stay involved with the IRC! Stay tuned for information on programming and discussions you can enjoy from the comfort of anywhere as well as invitations to write a blog postjoin a planning team (which remain active), and connect in other ways. We have some engaging events planned for later in the spring, as well, and look forward to seeing you again very soon.

If you have any specific questions or concerns, you are most welcome to contact Matthew Hughes, executive director, at mhughes@irckc.orgor 816-897-6474.

Thank you for your continued support of the IRC. We'll get through this together.
