Overcoming adversity is one of the most important aspects in life. From dealing with unforeseen challenges, to excepting new normals, it takes a great deal of character and strength to conquer the anxieties. Irina Kobzeva-Pavlovic will facilitate a discussion about just that as part of our next Digital Coffee Hour. Originally from Russia, Kobzeva-Pavlovic has spent over 20 years now in the U.S.. She has developed first-hand experience in culture shock, acclimation, and finding a new normal in a new place.

Digital Coffee Hour
It’s easy to feel disconnected right now. But it’s our job here at the International Relations Council to make sure you have the opportunity to share your story. How is the current situation affecting you? How are your friends and family impacted? We all have a unique perspective, and being able to bond with one another is integral towards maintaining a sense of normalcy in circumstances that are anything but.

Going forward, the IRC is going to put on Digital Coffee Hours. We’ll invite you to make yourself a warm beverage, log on to Zoom, and discuss international topics. Our mission is to expand the international dialogue surrounding Kansas City, but it is also to facilitate storytelling and conversation. Let’s get through this difficult time together.
