About the Speaker
In her current role, Margon serves as Human Rights Watch’s main point of contact with the U.S. government and provides strategic and advocacyguidance, including legislative and policy development. Prior to joining Human Rights Watch, she was associate director of sustainable security and peacebuilding at the Center for American Progress. Margon also served as senior foreign policy advisor to Sen. Russ Feingold (D-WI) and as staff director to the Senate Foreign Relations Subcommittee on African Affairs. She has been a guest on various national and international media programs and has published in a wide range of outlets from the Washington Post to USA Today to Foreign Affairs.


Tickets are $20 (general admission), $15 (members), and free for students with RSVP. 


Parking and Directions
Parking is available in Stinson's garage. Please note: To get free parking, attendees must arrive by 6 p.m. and speak to the receptionist to have their tickets validated. Parking cannot be validated for attendees arriving after 6. 

Upon arrival, take the elevators to the 29th floor. Programming will be held in rooms Truman A and Truman B.
