  • Sign up for the IRC newsletter » Our weekly newsletter presents updates on IRC programs as well as a calendar of internationally themed community events and volunteer opportunities with other organizations.
  • Attend a program » From lectures and panel presentations to discussion groups and casual meals, our programs welcome a wide range of participants and cover foreign affairs, global issues, international relations, and how they connect to our community. We enjoy bringing global-affairs experts to the area and tapping into the remarkable global expertise right here in Kansas City.
  • Volunteer at an event » We're often looking for individuals or groups who are willing to share their time to make our programs and events possible.
  • Offer to host an event at your organization or workplace: We do our best to move IRC programs around the Kansas City metro area to make them as geographically accessible as possible. If your business or organization would be interested in hosting an IRC event, please contact Matthew ».
  • Contribute a blog post » Our blog includes a mix of analysis, international stories, and member highlights, and we'd love to see what you have to share.
  • Join our team as a university intern » Each semester, we welcome interns from schools around the area to gain valuable professional experience and put their studies into practice. We are happy to be able to work with universities to offer academic credit for the students' work.
  • Join the IRC speakers bureau » IRC members bring an incredible wealth of international knowledge, and the speakers bureau makes them available to area organizations to share their experience.
  • Donate to a program that matters to you » Whether you'd like to help students grow in global understanding or bring speakers to town, your tax-deductible donation ensures that this important work continues.
  • Sponsor one of our signature events: From adult and student WorldQuest to the Berkley Lecture and the Global Honors Evening, there are abundant opportunities for your business or organization to find recognition and support a worthy cause. If your business or organization would be interested in sponsoring an event, please contact Matthew ».
