The International Relations Council (IRC) is committed to protecting the personal information that you provide when using the IRC website and to provide a secure private environment for its members to communicate and carry out transactions online.  This page summarizes our current information gathering and dissemination practices.

Email Privacy

Your email address will be used only within the IRC.  IRC-generated email includes automatic emails notifying you about IRC programs and notifying you that you have registered for an IRC program; notifications concerning membership renewal; and individual correspondence.  We do not sell or rent email addresses to anyone outside IRC.

Registration and Membership Renewal Forms

IRC's website registration and membership renewal forms require users to give us contact information such as name, and address, method of payment, and, occasionally, additional demographic information.  We use the contact information from the registration form to contact you when necessary.  Information regarding method of payment is collected for member enrollment and renewal, and to process orders for products and services.

Legal Notices

The following Notices, Terms, Conditions and Policies govern the use of the IRC web site, network and services.  By accessing or using the IRC web site network or services, customers and user agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set forth in these Notices, Terms, Conditions and Policies.  All IRC members and users are responsibile to regularly review these Notices, Terms, Conditions and Policies to determine the most current obligations and requirements.

Authorization of Use

Any person is authorized to view the information, images, texts, documents and all other content posted on the IRC web site for informational purposes only.  IRC may modify the terms and conditions of use at any time, without notice, and such modifications shall become effective upon posting on the IRC web site.  IRC reserves the right to restrict access to its web site on the contents contained therein.  All users are responsible to review regularly the contents of the Notice to determine the terms and conditions contained herein. 

Trademarks

The names, logos and taglines identifying IRC's products and services are proprietary marks of the IRC or its subsidiaries.  Other trademarks appearing on the IRC web site may be owned by unaffiliated entities.

Content Submission

Certain areas of the IRC web site provide for the exchange of information between the user and IRC.  A submission by the user becomes the property of IRC and the user, by submitting such content, represents that he/she holds title to and the right to use such content and grants IRC the right to use the content of those submissions in accordance with IRC's privacy policy.  In no event will IRC or any of its subsidiaries or affiliates be held liable for its use of such content.

Third Party Intellectual Property

Individuals who believe that their intellectual property rights have been infringed by unauthorized use of their protected work appearing at the IRC web site may contact IRC and request that the infringing materials be removed or access to it be blocked.
