What is it?

The IRC Speakers Bureau is a collection of IRC members willing to share their expertise and experiences with the Greater Kansas City area. The members of the Bureau don’t charge a fee for their speaking time and are available to the Greater Kansas City area (but it is ultimately their decision where to travel).

How does it work?

Those who wish to request a speaker will fill out a form providing all the pertinent information. The IRC will then get in touch with the requested speaker, confirm their availability, and get back in touch with the requester.

How far out do you have to request a speaker?

We need at least a week to confirm a speaking engagement with a speaker. As such, we recommend you request a speaker ASAP. Our speakers are much more likely to be available for you even if they have sufficient time to put it into their schedule.

What does it cost?

The IRC Speakers Bureau is free for all IRC members and all K-12 Schools (regardless of membership status). A non-profit that is not a member of the IRC must pay $25/request, a company that is not a member of the IRC must pay $50/request, and a university that is not a member of the IRC must pay $25/request.
